indian burial mounds were at one time all the way to knapp street,then the land and mounds were pushed into the lake and houses were built on top of the land.
We beleive that this house was built dirrectly on top of the chippwa indian mound.There has been sittings of indian ghosts in the house which i understand are in the basement.my family members lived there.i will find out more from my sister whom told me the story about the house as did my brother and my sisters 5 year old daughter.i will update as soon as i get her here to write the story.
