Glore Psychiatric Museum is housed on the grounds of what was once State Hospital #2, later known as Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center. The hospital has since relocated to a newer building across the street, but the museum remains. The old hospital was converted into part of the prison on the grounds, while the museum was allowed to remain open.
Many things have been reported here, from a man in dress clothes walking around to a woman crying, to yet another man shouting at people and waving his arms. The majority of sightings have happened with groups of people present. Given that this was a mental health facility, and the treatments for mental illness at the turn of the century were quite brutal, it is no wonder that this place is haunted. Visitors are welcome, and the museum itself is worth the trip.
