Description:

Built in the summer of 1770 a family of the last name Crowley resided in this 4 bedroom home. They had one daughter who was 7 and and son whom was 10 at the time the house was constructed. They had one slave by the name of Aluda [last name unknown] who served the family and lived 50 feet from the residence in a tiny plank house.
The family was well known, and lived there for about 2 years when someone broke into their home late at night. The intruder was a 27 year old male with no identity to this day, but shot and killed the daughter, her brother, and her husband. Frantically, the woman ran upstairs and locked herself in the spare bedroom. The male quickly ran after her, breaking the fragile door with his rifle.
Instead of letting the stranger shot her, she opened the window, slid down the slanted roof over the porch and hung herself. Her dress caught on the tin roofing. She was going so fast that when it caught around her neck, it choked her and she instantly died.
People say that when they ride by this property at night they can see a woman hanging from the porch. But unfortunately, the property is a strict no-trespassing place because the house is dangerous.
